Apprenticeships Awards
We were delighted to attend this year’s Belfast Metropolitan College, Apprenticeship and Training Awards 2015 held in June and accept two awards.
The highly sought after Engineering Apprentice Award was presented to Daryl Letman who has been with Ridgeway for two years now. Neill Killen, General Manager for Ridgeway commented “Daryl is a valued member of our team and it was great to see his enthusiasm and talent receive such great recognition by the governing body in his education.”
Ridgeway then received the ‘Employer Recognition Award’, to mark the level of commitment provided by the company over a number of years in training apprentices to a high level. “We are delighted to receive this award for the company, marking Ridgeway as a destination company to work for,” commented Neill Killen.
The event took place in the Springvale Campus and was well attended by representatives from a number of companies in a wide range of industries.
The awards were presented by Stephen Farry MLA, Minster for the Department of Employment and Learning.
